It could be where you are.

Here.
At the root of it all.
It may well be the ends of your feet.
Love.

Here.
Where the night begins in introverted longings.
So meek, this heart.
Love.
The golden ends of your tainted words
Shimmer!
Glimmer!
And Dazzle these hidden eyes
The World trembles in this new light
Love!
Feel the extensions of this life
Branching into a million unbalanced possibilities!
Love!
Feel the only aching heart I own melt into itself
Filling into
Benitoite
So wounded and glorious blue.
Mother.
Lover.
I shudder to think of the inflictions
Done.

Here.
At the beginning of it all.
It may well be the ends of your feet.
Love.

When tomorrow fades further everyday.
Might I cartel an encounter of questioning?
What of when I no longer breathe these
Misty breezes.
That one day when we don’t share the same sphere.
What of then. Will these glorious tomorrows you sought count?
It could be where you are that I lie.
But then it couldn’t.
Lover.
Mother.
Sister.
Friend.
What of then, when there is no more life to rent
For me.

Here.
At the ends of your feet.
As my legacy mingles with this aging tree.
As I climb ever so chastely into heartwood.
That I keep these leaves dancing a little longer
That they may glitter in luster
under the phantasmagorical twinkling skies
I know we love so much.

That I am no longer Yours.
As blood
As soul
As the tears
I unwillingly let fall.
That I may be one with the rain.
That I may never sing to you again.

I could dance for you
If you’d only let me.

What of then, when I am no more, to be.
Let me silver along the contours of this tree.
That I may be Something you could always come back to.

Come carve our names into me.
Forever in a heart.
That your dreams may come to be
And you will always find me
Here.
At the root of it all.

It may well be the ends of your feet.
It could be anywhere you are.
