Rise

Wake up
Oh shackled traveler.
Find a way to rise.

It’ been too long before your last
Dream.
The thickets have overgrown
In getting closer to you.
Now the Wilderness dies.

Nothing it is
Without your dreams.
Nothing without your longing.
Nothing without your sighing breath
That wanders into the Darkness
Growing, cantering
Gleaming in the whispered
Night as it
Exhales your name
In pleasant murmurs.
You will come.
You will touch.
And you will be graced.

So stop wheezing.
You were born
For more.
Go
For the trees they die.
The creatures shiver
And the Moon
So in love with the Earth
Cries out
In silver pain.

Go
Because it’s been too long before you
Dreamed Last.
What is all this beauty
If it isn’t longed for.
Go.
You will touch.
And you will be graced.

Rise.
